The Shop
The shop is situated in “Juego de Bolas” Visitors Center (Garajonay National Park).
The Visitors Centre Juego de Bolas is the ideal place to approach La Gomera and plan the visit, whether if you are going to be a day or more on the island. With equipment adapted to people with reduced mobility, the contents that can be found in the visit are:
– Exhibitions devoted to the nature of the Garajonay National Park, and La Gomera as a whole, in all its aspects: geography, climate, geology, flora, fauna and human uses of the territory.
– Exhibition devoted to historical elements of the traditional, rural life, which includes reproductions of a rural house and an aboriginal burial. As a complement to all of this, an audiovisual of ethnographic content is emitted, offered only in the Spanish language.
– It also shows the native flora of the Park and of the whole island, grouped by types of vegetation and identified with its local and scientific names.
"I started making cookies in Vallehermoso, with my father, since I was 8 years old. And when my father retired, in '96, I took his business over. So as not to lose tradition, I kept the business, and in its time the ovens used wood. In 2004 I made my own bakery with the name Sabores Gomeros".
